In the second quarter of 2024, Android users in Europe continued to engage with top personal finance apps for budgeting and planning. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the trends for the five leading applications in this category.

Finanzguru - Konten & Verträge maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue peaking at around $61K and closing the quarter near $37K. Downloads showed a high in mid-April with approximately 12K downloads and a slight dip towards the end of June with around 9K. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 245K users at the quarter's end.

BudgetBakers' Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker saw revenues ranging from approximately $7K to $9K weekly. Downloads experienced a dip in early May, dropping to 2K but later rebounded to around 3K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users trended downwards from 67K to 58K over the quarter.

YNAB exhibited a steady revenue with figures between $7K and $8K weekly. Downloads were lowest at the start of April with 707 and peaked in late June with over 1K. Its weekly active users remained consistent, hovering around 6K throughout the quarter.

Splitwise showed a stable revenue trend, ranging from around $7K to $7.7K weekly. Downloads peaked in late May with over 39K and ended the quarter strong with similar figures. Active users saw a peak at 227K in late April, with a slight decrease to 224K by the end of June.

Lastly, Bankin' had its revenue fluctuate, with a notable rise to $7.8K in early June but ending the quarter around $4.2K. Downloads saw an increase in late April reaching nearly 12K, followed by a decrease to around 4.6K in early June, and then a rebound to over 8K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users showed an increasing trend from 108K to over 100K in the same period.
